Abeka Curriculum

Abeka Curriculum has a character-building philosophy that comes from a biblical foundation—Proverbs 22:6a, “Train up a child in the way he should go.” Abeka is a proven curriculum that offers an excellent education from a Christian perspective. Millions of Christian school students have used Abeka since it started in 1972, and over 1 million used it in 2017 alone. At H.O.P.E. Early Learning Center every subject is approached from a Christian perspective with Scripture and biblical principles used to emphasize or illustrate concepts. ABEKA

Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards

In accordance with the Tennessee Department of Human Services, H.O.P.E. Early Learning Center will implement The Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards, or TN-ELDS. These standards provide documentation of the continuum of developmental milestones from birth through age five based on the research about the processes, sequences, and long-term consequences of early learning and development. The standards for 4-year-olds provide a direct alignment with the content areas found in Tennessee’s state English language arts and mathematics standards as well as the Tennessee state standards for kindergarten. The birth-48 months standards continue to be a resource for educators, child care providers, and families who work with children in this age range. TN-ELDS
