Our Pre-K1 students are ages 18 months to 30 months. As toddlers transition from infancy toward pre-school age, they have accelerated cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Weekly lessons will focus on specific themes which include Bible stories, colors, numbers, shapes, and letters. Lessons will encourage learning through play in groups and independently. Teachers will communicate with parents through the Brightwheel App. Brightwheel provides electronic daily sheets, as well as, real-time parent communication allowing parents to engage in their child’s activity throughout the day.

At H.O.P.E. Early Learning Center our goal to ensure kindergarten readiness begins in our Two-year-old classroom. Weekly lessons will focus on learning through exploration. This discovery approach to learning will allow children to interact with their world through manipulating objects and problem-solving activities. Weekly lessons will be themed and include Bible stories, colors, numbers, shapes, and letters with the addition of language and gross motor skill development. Social and emotional development will include toileting and self-control. Teachers will communicate with parents through the Brightwheel App. Brightwheel provides electronic daily sheets, as well as, real-time parent communication allowing parents to engage in their child’s activity throughout the day.

At three-years-old children’s imagination and language development soars. Developmental milestones include showing affection, holding short conversations, completing a puzzle, and riding a tricycle. Weekly lessons will continue discovery learning through play, social and emotional development, creative expression, language and literacy, science and math, music, Bible, and art. Curricular standards will be assessed to ensure kindergarten readiness. A student portfolio will be kept that demonstrates competence and readiness to transition to Pre-K4. To ensure kindergarten readiness, our Pre-K4 class is most intensive and structured. Weekly lessons will focus on phonics and language development, reading, writing, math, and science. Social and emotional development will focus on positive communication, cooperation, responsibility, and conflict resolution. Bible scriptures will support academics with Christian principles that promote a relationship with God. Students will be assessed more frequently and in various ways that include observation, group activities, and creative assignments. A student portfolio will be kept that demonstrates competence and readiness to transition to Kindergarten. Now enrolling ages 5-8 for Summer Camp during the months of June and July. Camp activities will include water play, sports, art, and academic enrichment.
